it is not a good idea to put the job again under  Similar jobs whereas you preview it.

Hi Mostafa, you are correct. Eventually we will put a filter on the "similar jobs" listing so that the current job doesn't show up. Currently we have prioritized other improvements above this but it is in our todo-list :)

Best,

Hi Goody,

great to see you here. Its pretty straight forward. First you find a job you would like to translate. For instance, if you are looking for arabic and english jobs you can goto the "Browse jobs" page and filter by those languages. You can see an example here: http://lingbay.com/jobs/default.aspx?lIds=210&lIds=208&lIds=224&pb=1

Then, give the job a quote (the price you want to be paid). The system is a bit like an inverted auction - however the buyer do not necessarily have to choose the lowest quote. The buyer (the person who has offered the job) then selects a winner of the job when the quoting ends or earlier in the process. Either way you will be notified by email if you are selected as the winner.

Hope that clarifies how you get started with the site. If you have any further questions then feel free to ask here in the forum.

Best,
Anders
